CompareAI — listed on the App Store as CompareAI Inspect — (“the app”) is operated by BioAxiz Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and how long it is kept.
What we collect

We do not collect advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Your videos are analysed by Google
When you ask the app to analyse a recording, that video is sent to Google’s Gemini API so it can be examined for damage, changes or completed work. Google processes the video to return that result and handles it under its own terms for API customers. If you would rather a particular recording were never sent to a third party, do not run an analysis on it — recording and storing a video does not on its own send it to Google.
Where your data is stored
Accounts, project data and videos are held on infrastructure provided by Supabase, our hosting and database provider. Videos are stored in a private bucket that is not publicly accessible; access is restricted to your own account, and links the app generates to play a video expire after one hour.
Payments
Subscriptions are purchased and billed through the app store you bought the app from — Apple today, and Google Play when the Android version ships. We never see or store your card details. The store tells our server only whether a subscription is currently active, which is what unlocks the paid features.
How long we keep things
- Videos are deleted automatically once they pass your plan’s retention window — 30 days on the free plan, 12 months on Pro. The app shows the expiry date on each recording. Deletion is permanent and we cannot recover a deleted video.
- Reports, findings and project details are kept until you delete them or close your account. Export a PDF report for anything you need to keep long term.
- Account data is kept while your account exists.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual projects in the app, which permanently removes their scans, videos and reports. To delete your entire account and everything in it, use Delete account in the app’s Profile screen — this removes your stored videos, reports and the account itself. You can also email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will action it. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; cancel that in your app store settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Videos live in a private bucket with access rules that scope every record to its owner. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
